UptimeRobot
Widely used uptime monitoring with simple public status pages.
Where UptimeRobot fits
UptimeRobot is probably the most widely deployed uptime monitor on the internet, largely on the strength of a free tier that is genuinely usable rather than a trial. Status pages come along with it. They are deliberately plain, which is fine when the page exists to answer 'is it down' and limiting when it needs to carry a brand.
Best for
Side projects and small teams that need monitoring first and a status page second.
Watch out for
Status page branding and audience segmentation are minimal; this is not the tool if the page is customer-facing marketing surface.
